CINCINNATI, Ohio (FOX19) - On Thursday, professional safecrackers were called in to break open a 150-year-old safe.

The safe once belonged to a group that manged the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

This 150-year-old safe was last opened in the early 1950’s, when management of the bridge transitioned from the Bridge Company to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Historians, bridge enthusiasts and secret seekers of all kinds gathered to watch the safe be opened.

Professional safecrackers are opening a 150-year-old safe. The safe once belonged to a group that managed the Roebling Suspension Bridge and it hasn't been opened in over 65 years.
