CINCINNATI, Ohio (FOX19) -Court records show that 20 year old Olivia Busch was arrested over the weekend.
The arrest report claims she destroyed evidence in Brendan Phillps’ murder and police say someone paid her to stay quiet.
Busch is also accused of making false statements to authorities since the day Phillps was killed.
Right now, Busch is facing obstruction of justice charges in Phillips’ February 2018 shooting death.
On February 16th, 2018, Officers were called to the 4400 block of Ammon Avenue on a report of a shooting. When first responders arrived, they found a lifeless Brendan Phillips.
A little over a year later, Cincinnati Police told us 31 year old Styles Hummons and 21 year old Courtney Walters were arrested and charged in his murder.
On Sunday, a woman who knew Brendan Phillps (asked to remain anonymous) told us she’s not surprised by this recent arrest.
“It overwhelming. It’s so much. I never even thought so many people were involved. I figured it had to be more than one person involved to even have this happen to him.”
Busch is held in the Hamilton County jail on no bond. She’s expected in court Tuesday, May 28th.
