GOSHEN, Ohio (FOX19) - A 3-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning Monday afternoon in Clermont County, Goshen police said.

The toddler was pulled from a pool in the 6800 block of Linton Road near State Route 32 in Goshen, they said.

He was swimming and his head was submerged for a few seconds, a police communication report states.

The 3-year-old was being supervised at the time by adults and was in the pool with other children, according to the report.

The toddler was unresponsive at the scene but breathing when he was airlifted in a medical helicopter to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, police said.

Further details, including his condition were not available early Tuesday.
