1 killed, 1 in stable condition in 2 Lincoln Heights shootings

LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio (FOX19) - Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating two shootings that happened in Lincoln Heights Friday night that left one teenager dead and another in stable condition.

Deputies say they were dispatched at 9:19 p.m. to the 900 block of Adams Street. When they arrived, they found 17-year-old Dante Harrington suffering from gunshot wounds.

Harrington was transported by Woodlawn EMS to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he later died.

Deputies were then dispatched at 10:45 p.m. to the 9900 block of Chester Road at the Our Corner Store where they say 6 shots were heard.

When they arrived, they found 18-year-old Jaylan Hardy injured from a gunshot wound to the back.

Hardy was taken by Woodlawn EMS to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Deputies are searching for a black car in relation to the first shooting but do not have any suspect information in relation to the second one.

The relationship between the two shootings is yet to be determined.
