WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - Four people, including two juveniles, were taken to the hospitals after a crash in Warren County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Fire crews were dispatched to Grandin Road and Venture Way at 7:08 a.m.
According to a news release from Ohio State Highway Patrol, the preliminary investigation showed Stephanie Davidson, 44, of Maineville was driving eastbound on Grandin Road in her Ford pickup truck. At the same time, Nicole Whaley, 37, of Morrow was traveling westbound in a Land Rover crossover.
Troopers said the truck driven by Davidson crossed the center line and struck Whaley’s SUV, which drove off the right side of the road. Davidson’s truck came to a rest in the roadway.
Whaley was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries. Davidson was transported to Bethesda North Hospital also with serious injuries.
Two juveniles who were passengers in Whaley’s SUV were transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers said Davidson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The three in the SUV were all reportedly wearing their seat belts.
A Hamilton Township Fire Department official said two people were trapped in their vehicles during the crash and had to be airlifted to receive medical care.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
State police are still investigating.
