CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A driver appeared in court Friday on charges he killed a 90-year-old woman in a crash in Carthage.

Mark Adams II of Green Township is held at the Hamilton County jail on one count of vehicular homicide and three counts of vehicular manslaughter, court records show.

A judge set his bond at $200,000.

He was operating a 2003 Infiniti southbound on Vine Street, making a left turn to go eastbound on 72nd Street while crossing oncoming traffic “without regard for safety and causing a crash,” Cincinnati police wrote in a Nov. 6 affidavit.

Mary Baughman sustained injuries in the Aug. 21 crash, resulting in her death two days later, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

Adams was also expected to appear in court Friday on an unrelated robbery charge, court records show.

Cincinnati police wrote in a criminal complaint he is accused of punching a victim in the face, knocking his tooth out and causing serious physical harm and taking the victim’s cell phone.
