Miami U. student threatened to rape university officers’ daughters, mothers, skin families alive

Body camera released showing confrontation between student, police

OXFORD, Ohio (FOX19) - A Miami University student threatened to kill university officers, rape their daughters and mothers, and skin their families alive, court documents say.

Mark Moraski, 19, is charged with assault on a police officer, aggravated menacing, underage consumption, retaliation, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

According to Butler County court documents, Moraski was arrested in Dennison Hall on Miami University’s campus by two university police officers Sunday.

Moraski told police he’d been drinking at an off-campus rugby party.

When they tried to take him to the hospital to be checked out, he went on the defensive.

Officers say Moraski was so unruly at the hospital doctors wouldn’t treat him, so they had to get him in handcuffs before taking him to jail.

While being placed under arrest, the report states Moraski grabbed one of the officer’s shirts and body-worn camera, and kicked his legs and groin area. He also threatened to kill both officers and their families during this time, the report states.

Moraski later told both officers he would skin them and their children alive and threatened to rape their daughters and brothers. The continued threats happened at the McCullough Hyde Hospital, documents say.

A judge ruled that there is enough evidence to send Moraski’s case to the grand jury.

He remains free on bond until his next court appearance.
