HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - Human remains discovered by a hunter in Highland County on Dec. 12 have been identified.

The Highland County sheriff says the remains are that of Lanessa Roosa.

Roosa, 21, had been missing since Jan. 1, 2019.

She was last seen in Hillsboro at the Greystone motel.

Highland County Coroner Dr. Jeff Beery told the Highland County Press that a cause of death hasn’t been determined but there were “no signs of trauma.”
