CAMPBELL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX19) - Three people were injured Monday afternoon when a car struck a traffic control flagger and a construction vehicle on Alexandria Pike, US 27, in Campbell County, according to the Highland Heights Police Department.
A man in a Chevrolet Camaro was reportedly driving north when the car struck the male flagger and the construction vehicle, which had a female occupant.
Police say the construction crew was replacing part of the sidewalk in the area.
The flagger and the Camaro driver were reportedly taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, while the female worker was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
The traffic flagger is in critical condition, according to a police department release, and the others sustained non-life threatening injuries.
