FALMOUTH, Ky. (FOX19) - One person has died as a result of a single-vehicle crash in Falmouth Sunday morning, Kentucky State Police said.
Troopers say they received the call about the crash around 9:40 a.m.
They say Christopher Overley, 36, of Covington was driving a 2003 Ford Focus along U.S. 27 when his car exited the right side of the road at the intersection of KY 22.
Overley hit a culvert before reentering the roadway and then exited the right side of the road a second time, troopers said.
Troopers say the car then collided with an embankment before stopping. Overley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Overley’s sister, Venessa LeMay-Rizzo issued the following statement:
“He is survived by 3 children and 1 daughter due in March. Chris loved his kids and family more than life. He will be greatly missed. Thank you.”
A toxicology report is pending.
Kentucky State Police are still investigating.
