CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A mom admitted Sunday to overdosing on heroin while in the car with her 3-year-old child, court documents say.

The affidavit says Tiffany L. Rains, 34, admitted that while she was waiting for her friend in the Walmart parking lot, located in the 3200 block of Ferguson Road, she got the heroin from a random person.

The friend drove Rains’ car and called 911 before pulling into the fire department parking lot, located in the 3800 block of Harrison Avenue.

Court documents say the friend stated that shortly after he was picked up, he noticed that she started to slump over in the front seat so he called 911.

Officers administered Narcan and within 5 minutes, Rains regained consciousness, the affidavit says.

Rains is facing one count of child endangering.
