CINCINNATI (Enquirer) - Former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson is spreading the wealth, reports the Enquirer.

Johnson paid the rent of an Ohio woman on Monday, according to his Twitter exchanges.

The woman, whose Twitter location says she's from Columbus, tweeted Johnson and said, "@ochocinco you always blessing people.. I know this is a stretch but I need help with my rent, I haven’t paid this month and if I don’t pay today I’m being threatened to be evicted, can you please help??"

Johnson responded to the tweet within minutes and said, "Show me today’s deadline notice & we’ll handle it."

The woman responded, "I didn’t think you would actually respond!" Her post also included photos of an eviction notice as well as texts with her apartment building.

Johnson told the woman to direct message him and that he would pay her rent a few months in advance.

Separately, the former Bengal took to Twitter late Tuesday to relate a conversation he had with franchise-hopeful Joe Burrow about why he should chin up about being selected by the team.
