CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A man is in critical but stable condition after a shooting occurred Sunday afternoon in Winton Place.

Police say they got the call around 12 p.m. for a person who was shot in the 1100 block of West Mitchell Avenue.

The man, who is in his late teens to early 20s, was shot in the torso, according to Cincinnati Police Lt. Steve Saunders.

Saunders says the victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is now in critical but stable condition.

Officers are still investigating.
