FLORENCE, Ky. (FOX19) - A critical missing adult was found safe late Saturday, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office says.

Matthew Geohegan, 24-years-old, was last seen early Friday at his home in Florence before being found on Saturday, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

Geohegan is believed to be carrying a blue backpack though, the sheriff’s office says.

The sheriff’s office says he was found safe in Covington.
