Victims identified in double-fatal, 4-vehicle crash on 275 in Boone Co.
CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Two adults were killed in a 4-vehicle accident on WB 275 between KY-8 and US-50 in Boone County Monday morning.
Monday afternoon, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as 36-year-old Anna Kincart of Petersburg, Ky. and 24-year-old Brandon Hicks of Norwood, Ohio.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were first dispatched around 8:30 a.m. for a single-vehicle accident involving a Camaro. Subsequent to that accident, several more collisions happened at the same location involving a Jeep Wrangler, a Trailblazer and a F-150.
The sheriff’s office said Hicks, the driver of the Camaro, and Kincart, the driver of the Wrangler, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Trailblazer was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the driver of the F-150 was uninjured.
Westbound 275 was closed for more than three hours.
The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team is handling the investigation.
