Hamilton Co. discusses outreach to college students

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Regina Carswell Russo with the Regional COVID Communications Center (RC3) discussed outreach to college students as thousands settle into the school year.

Health Commissioner Greg Kesterman shared the newest data including the latest on adults 18-24.

Commissioner Denise Driehaus spoke about the CDC Eviction Moratorium.

“The protection is not automatic, if you are facing eviction you can contact Legal Aid or the Clerk of Court’s legal self help center. Even with the protection from eviction, rent is still due. The county has funding to help,” she said.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, there are 11,826 coronavirus cases and 288 deaths.

Driehaus also spoke about free testing sites throughout the Tri-State.
