Newly announced projects expected to create 100+ plus jobs in southwest Ohio

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - On Monday, Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted announced the approval of projects in Hamilton County and in Butler County from the Tax Credit Authority.

In Hamilton County, 45 full-time jobs are expected to come from the Integrity Express Logistics LLC expansion project into Blue Ash, according to the press release. The company runs a logistics business specializing in “local trucking with innovative technology and operational efficiency to customize logistics solutions.”

A 1.532%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the Integrity Express Logistics LLC project was approved by the TCA, according to the press release.

Over in Butler County, Walkenhorst’s expects to create 60 full-time jobs for its new project in West Chester Township. Walkenhorst’s “provides mail order retail products to inmates through catalogs and online ordering.”

The press release says the TCA approved a 1.071%, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for Walkenhorst’s project.

Overall, the TCA approved 16 new projects that will create a total of 4,183 jobs and retain 1,051 other positions in the state.

These projects are expected to result in more than $240 million in new payroll and create more than $864 million in investments for Ohio.
