CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A father is facing a child endangerment charge after he allegedly left his autistic child inside the car for more than three hours on New Year’s Eve, a court complaint says.

On Thursday, Shawn Casey went inside CSL Plasma to donate plasma for money, according to the court complaint.

From 8:05 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Casey left his 5-year-old child, who is autistic, inside of the car with the window down, the document from the Hamilton County Municipal Court reads.

Witnesses found the child honking the horn, the court complaint says.

Casey, who has been released from jail, is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
