CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The Bunbury Music Festival is postponed for 2021 due to coronavirus, organizers announced Monday.
The three-day event at Cincinnati’s Saywer Point and Yeatman’s Cove was cancelled last year “due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19.”
This year, organizers hope to hold it at a later date.
“Bunbarians, It was our hope that the big picture would look very differently by this stage, but unfortunately it is with the safety and wellbeing of our fans, artists and staff in mind that we have chosen to postpone our plans for the next installment of Bunbury Music Festival,” they said in a tweet.
“Cancelling once, let alone twice, is the last thing we want to do. The state of things as they are projected to be would not lead to a safe and fun environment for all come June, so we are looking to the future without shutting the door entirely on 2021.
“We’ll continue to look for guidance from health officials at all levels and we ask all of you to stay safe and healthy!
“Bunbarians in the Cincy area have another thing to look forward to this year as well, with the grand opening of Ovation Pavilion, right across the river in Newport, KY. The Indoor/Outdoor Ovation Pavilion hopes to welcome fans later this year! We can’t wait to Bee Together again!”
