Metro asks for input about possible route changes

Metro virtual meetings

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati Metro will hold virtual community meetings to update the public and collect feedback on the service improvements going into effect this summer.

The Reinventing Metro plan focuses on transportation improvements throughout the city.

Phase 1 is scheduled to rollout in June 2021.

The community can expect to see some routes with 24 hour service, something that has never been done in the history of Metro.

Riders will also notice increased frequency routes, more weekend service, expanded service hours, new routes and enhanced customer amenities.

Brandy Jones with Cincinnati Metro says they are reimagining their whole network to ultimately boost the region’s economic development through improved job connections and new employment centers.

“So whether you ride the bus or not, we all depend on someone who takes Metro,” says Jones. “Whether that’s the local barista at the coffee shop, a hospital worker or a teacher, we know that having a robust transportation system benefits our entire region. It helps us with economic development.”

Beginning Jan. 12, Metro will hold seven virtual meetings that anyone can sit in on.

They are looking for feedback from the community.

You are asked to register ahead of time at and they will then send you a Zoom link.

The seven virtual meetings are separated by route and community.
