FAIRFIELD, Ohio (FOX19) - A fight that escalated into a stabbing at a Butler County bowling alley sent three people to the hospital overnight, including one in a medical helicopter, police said.

Officers responded to Gilmore Lanes in Fairfield off Ohio 4 about 10:38 p.m.

Fairfield police said they first got a call about a disorderly person inside the alley. That person and another man got into an argument inside the alley and then it spilled out into the parking lot.

Police said when the disorderly man was kicked out, the other fellow followed him and started fighting in the lot. A third person tried to break it up but was slammed to the ground.

The fight continued when one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man several times, according to police.

The stabbing victim was flown by Air Care to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to police.

The two other men were taken by ambulance to West Chester Hospital, police said early Thursday.

One was treated for cuts and the other had facial injuries.

Police said no arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation.
