Crews battle blaze in Brown Co. scrap yard

BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - A fire broke out in a scrapyard in Hamersville, according to Brown County Dispatch.

The fire broke out sometime shortly before 8:50 p.m. at D+S Auto Salvage on OH-125, dispatchers say.

Bethel-Tate fire crews were among several first responders at the scene.

OH-125 is closed indefinitely between OH-774 in Brown County and OH-133 in Clermont County due to the fire.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan alternate routes.

No injuries have been reported.

Fire crews do not yet know how the fire started.
