Police ID man killed in Bond Hill crash

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati police said one man is dead following a car accident early Tuesday morning.
Police said 43-year-old Ronnie Givens was pronounced dead near Rhode Island and Rockingham avenues shortly before 3:00 a.m.
According to police, Givens was driving south on Rhode Island Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.
Police said he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Excessive speed appears to be a factor in the crash. Impairment is yet to be determined, they said.
The Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit is investigating.
