Burrow: ‘I never feel like an underdog’
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Buffalo Bills are now five-point favorites to beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but for Joe Burrow, his team is never the underdog.
Burrow met with the media Wednesday to talk about the AFC Divisional Round game.
The Bengals quarterback said it’s always a hostile environment anytime the team is on the road. The mindset of the visiting team is a “you against the world,” Burrow explained.
Burrow, who will make his sixth career playoff start on Sunday, said it is “just another game, just another playoff game” to him.
His cool, calm, and collected swagger is not new to Bengals fans.
That mindset was front and center when Burrow said, “I never feel like an underdog.”
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor backed up the statement from his starting quarterback.
“We’re not an underdog to anybody,” Taylor said. “That’s been the feeling all season.”
Burrow said he anticipates having plenty of the Who Dey faithful in the stands at Highmark Stadium.
