Video shows chase that led to arrest of Felony Lane Gang suspect in Springboro
SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WXIX) - The Springboro Police Department has released video of the chase they say led to the arrest of a man suspected to be part of a multi-state crime ring that’s targeted the Tri-State.
Police say they believe the suspect, General Foreman, of Florida, is a member of the Felony Lane Gang. He was arrested after a pursuit and crash on Oct. 20. He was traveling with a passenger at the time of the pursuit.
According to a statement on Facebook, police tried to stop a Jeep Cherokee with a stolen license plate in the Hazel Woods Park area. The driver fled and crashed. Foreman was arrested for fleeing police.
Police said the stolen plate was covering a Florida license plate that was on the vehicle.
Sgt. Drew Pyles said they haven’t dealt with the gang in the past.
“Not recently,” Pyles said. “I don’t have specific cases on top of my head, but we’ve had dealings with the Felony Lane Gang.”
The passenger in the car, who was from Atlanta, wasn’t arrested. Pyles said the case is still under investigation.
Tri-State police have warned residents a multi-state crime ring has been active in the area for years, most recently in Amberley.
