Victim in deadly Hartwell shooting identified

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Police Department has identified the person killed in a weekend shooting in Hartwell.

Bairon Chaj, 19, was shot and killed on July 20, according to CPD.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Galbraith Road and Vine Street outside of the Hartwell Recreation Center, police explained.

When officers arrived, they found Chaj shot to death in the parking lot.

Details as to what happened are still unknown.

Police have not said if there are any suspects.
