FOREST PARK, Ohio (WXIX) - A 37-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times during an argument at a busy Forest Park bar overnight, police say.

It happened at the Cruise Inn Bar on Northland Boulevard around 10 p.m. Thursday.

“Words were exchanged, the suspect pulled a gun and he shot the victim multiple times, said Forest Park Police Sgt. Corey Hall.

He said he was not sure what the two men were fighting about “but whatever it was, it’s not worth someone’s life.”

The victim was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to Sgt. Hall.

Lt. Adam Pape identified the victim as Willie Clark of Cincinnati.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, according to Sgt. Hall.

No one was taken into custody or arrested, he confirmed.
