Kaitlin Rust

Kaitlin Rust joined the WAVE 3 News team in May 2018 as a multimedia journalist and reporter.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Kaitlin is enjoying her trek around the United States.

She's coming up after spending two years in the Bayou State, reporting for WAVE sister station KPLC 7 News in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Although she'll miss the Cajun culture and community, she won't miss covering major flooding and hurricanes.

Kaitlin graduated from Rider University with a major in Digital Media and a minor in Political Science, also while working for FOX 29 Philadelphia as a Junior Reporter.

Obsessed with animals and music, Kaitlin can often be found spending time with her two rabbits or out dancing at a show.

She's excited to be in Louisville and would love to tell your stories!

Feel free to email her with any ideas or just to say hello.
