N. Ky. jail inmate's death goes to grand jury

COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A northern Kentucky judge has sent the case of a jail inmate's death to a grand jury.

Marion Lawson Parker III is charged with beating and strangling a 40-year-old man sleeping in the same unit at the Kenton County jail. Judge Ann Ruttle found Tuesday that there was enough evidence to give the case to the grand jury.

When he died last month, Isaac Jackson of Cincinnati was being held in the jail on a charge of giving a false name to a police officer.
