Cincinnati, OH (FOX 19)

The University of Cincinnati basketball team will take on fourth ranked Pittsburgh without leading rebounder Yancy Gates who has been suspended by head coach Mick Cronin.

Less than an hour before tip off with the Panthers, Bill Koch of the Cincinnati Enquirer reported the suspension.  Gates is said to be suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.  He did not make the trip to Pittsburgh with the Bearcats.

Anthony "Biggie" McClain will take Gates' spot in the starting lineup.
