Charles Svec and Don Smith have been selected to serve on the Antonelli College executive team; Svec enters the leadership role as Director of Education while Smith has been named the Director of Admissions.

"Complimenting our existing executive team with Charles and Don is exciting. Both bring valuable experience and national industry knowledge to their departments, as well as a contagious enthusiasm for Antonelli College," said Executive Campus Director, Karen Gautreau.

Svec joins Antonelli College after serving in a similar capacity at Nashville's MedVance Institute and at a start-up ITT Technical Institute campus in Mississippi. He began his proprietary education career at Sanford-Brown College where he worked as an Instructor, Department Chair, Assistant Director of Education and finally as Director of Education at the St. Peters, Missouri campus.

"Charles is the complete package," said Gautreau, "His combination of veteran experience, leadership and energy is exactly what we were looking for in a Director of Education; his past has proven he is always working with the faculty and student's best interests in mind."

Smith joins the Antonelli College team with a career college tenure spanning more than a decade consisting of purely admissions and recruiting experience. Most recently, he was the Regional Director of Admissions for Angley College in Florida. His accomplishments include helping to develop a student body from 36 students to a population of 1,500 enrollees in two years, as well as building and training three successful Admissions teams.

"I see a lot of potential in the Cincinnati and West Chester locations, from the building renovations to the spark in the faculty and students," said Smith. "I am also happy to work with Karen [Gautreau] as she is one of the best Campus Directors I have ever seen."

Pre-dating his time at Angley College, Smith worked at Southwest Florida College and ITT Technical Institute.

"Don's marketing background and successful experience within the career college industry will give our admissions team a new perspective and approach to the process. Such knowledge will be passed along to our prospective students and will benefit our community as a whole," said Gautreau.

Additionally, Kamika Davis and Ana Stebbins have joined Smith's staff as Admissions Representatives and Erin McGee was named the Antonelli College Librarian.
