MASON, OH (FOX19) - An animatronic dinosaur, part of Kings Island new "Dinosaurs Alive!" exhibit, caught fire Tuesday evening.
Crews arrived at the scene at around 8:40 p.m., after the park has closed for the day.
The incident was captured on FOX19's WindSeeker camera at Kings Island, part of the FOX19 Skycam Network. Watch the time-lapsed video in the player above.
The Kings Island Fire Department and the Mason Fire Department were both on scene to help put out the fire. The fire caused a large cloud of black smoke to appear over the park.
The fire was put out quickly, and no one was injured. Only one dinosaur was damaged during the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
According to a Kings Island spokesperson, the "Dinosaurs Alive" exhibit will open Thursday as scheduled.
