CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 13-year-old boy accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl was found competent to stand trial on Wednesday.

A Juvenile Court judge found the boy competent to stand trial after hearing the results of psychological testing.

Prosecutors say the teen sexually assaulted the girl in October at the McDonald's Playland on Beechmont Ave. in Anderson Township. The teenager's parents turned him in to police after seeing reports on TV of the assault.

The trial is scheduled for January 19, but lawyers say it's still to early to say if the case will go to trial or be handled outside of court.
