COLD SPRING, KY (FOX19) - Highlands high school Quarterback Patrick Towles teamed up with former New York Giants Quarterback Jared Lorenzen to participate in an eating challenge at Raniero's Pizzeria in Cold Spring, KY on Sunday.  The challenge was to eat a 24-inch pizza within 10 minutes.

Towles and Lorenzen battled Mark Collier and Georgetown College Broadcaster, Will Chambers.

The challenge was part of a 10-challenge series in which Mark Collier will take on local celebrities in various food challenges, all which will benefit The Brighton Center. Ten percent of the proceeds from Sunday's event went to The Brighton Center.

Although neither group was able to fully complete the challenge, Collier and Chambers finished more pizza than the Quarterbacks.

Towles is set to play for the University of Kentucky football team in the fall, which is also Lorenzen's alma mater.
