Coroner: Death of 6-year-old boy was a homicide
Coroners say the death of a six-year-old Clermont County boy last month was a homicide. Assistant county prosecutor Daniel Breyer said coroners found bruises on Brandon Lehn's (lane's) back and chin. Breyer said the child also had a tear inside his upper lip which could have been caused by a suffocation attempt or an effort to revive him by resuscitation. The boy died February sixth, the day he was found in the parking lot of the Milford-area apartment complex where he lived with his mother. A grand jury has indicted his mother, 25-year-old Christina Miracle, on a felony charge of child endangering. She pleaded innocent by reason of insanity. Miracle is in a psychiatric hospital being evaluated to determine if she is mentally competent for trial.
