Robber gets away with cash during gas station robbery

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a robbery at a Colerain Township gas station.

It happened Wednesday morning at about 9 a.m. at the Marathon station on Springdale Road.

Responding officers determined one male armed with a long gun entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He got away with an unknown amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect fled in a late 80's or early 90's model full size Chevy or GMC van with unknown license plates. It was gray in color with a blue or gray stripe down the side.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'6" with a medium build and wearing a gray and white jacket, blue jeans, work boots, dark sunglasses and a gray bandana.

No one was hurt.
