CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Ohio Governor John Kasich was the keynote speaker at the annual Hamilton County Republican Party's Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner on Monday.

Tickets started at $75 per person for the event held at the Duke Energy Center.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Tea Party protested Gov. Kasich outside the convention center for his support of expanding Medicaid in Ohio. Many have referred to it as 'KasichCare', which includes taking funds from the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

Tea Party members are against it, arguing it will add to America's debt.

The Catholic Health Partners released a statement in support, reading in part, "Failure to extend coverage will not only lead to less healthy communities, but will drive thousands of patients to our hospital emergency room for uncompensated care. This will continue to have a financial drain on Catholic health partners and many of Ohio's largest employers."
