Brown Co. Shelter needs 'urgent help' placing dogs

BROWN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The Brown County Animal Shelter announced they need 'urgent help' placing dogs before it's too late.

Officials say they have multiple dogs on the 'urgent list' that have been at the shelter the longest amount of time. They are once again facing overcrowding and say more dogs are arriving daily.

According to the shelter, the dogs will be put to sleep on Friday, October 4th if they are not adopted.

FOX19 covered a similar story in June with another group of dogs, and officials say all were rescued or adopted.

The Brown County Animal Shelter posted photos of the dogs on the 'urgent list' on their Facebook page.

The shelter is located at 100 Veterans Boulevard in Georgetown, Ohio.
