(FOX19) - Doug Coates is an author of the book "Pitching for Success" with the subtitle "Character Lessons, The Joe Nuxhall Way."
Coates will be on Wednesday's FOX19 Morning News to talk about the book that's written for young readers.
Here's a brief synopsis from publisher Orange Frazer Press:
"Little Leaguer Dominic is struggling with his pitching and his temper. He doesn't want to cheer for his teammates when he's pitching poorly or is mad. But his passionate coach—who is also his father—teaches Dominic how to be a kinder and more patient player with the help of baseball legend, Joe Nuxhall."
The book will be released Thursday.
Coates will be at a book signing at 7 p.m. Thursday at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, 2692 Madison Road, in Norwood.
