CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County Municipal Court judge on Monday convicted a southeastern Indiana mother on charges related to her overdosing on heroin in a McDonald's play area with her children present.

Judge Fanon Rucker sentenced Tamica Jeffers, 33, of Dillsboro, Ind., to 180 days in jail. Of that 180 days, 90 days were suspended and Rucker gave her credit for 44 days served.

Rucker convicted Jeffers of two counts of child endangerment.

Jeffers and Robert Palmer, 37, of Dillsboro, Ind. had their two children (ages 5 and 8 at the time) with them when the couple passed out and required medical attention. The incident was in March at a McDonald's restaurant on North Bend Road in Green Township.

Palmer, 37, was convicted last month on two misdemeanor charges after a nonjury trial, according to the Associated Press. The AP said Palmer was sentenced to six months in jail.
