Under 35 and trying to conceive for more than a year
Over 35 and trying for six months
Over 30 with a history of miscarriage, pelvic inflammatory disease or irregular cycles
You know partner has a low sperm count
30 percent of infertility is a female factor
30 percent of infertility is a male factor
40 percent is unknown
