WILMINGTON, OH (FOX19) - One person was killed and another injured after a head-on collision Friday morning in Wilmington, Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Wilmington Post said it happened at about 8:15 a.m. on State Route 124, just southeast of State Route 134.

Larry Black, 58, of Hillsboro, was headed southeast on S.R. 124 in a 2005 Pontiac G6. Vicki Beekman, 51, also of Hillsboro, was driving the opposite direction in a 2003 Chevrolet Impala.

Authorities said Black went left of center and hit Beekman's vehicle head-on. Beekman was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio with serious injuries.

Black was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County Coroner's Office. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
