RECIPE: Southern Banana Pudding

(FOX19) - Dianne Creech of Pit to Plate made this delicious dessert recipe Monday on the FOX19 Morning News. Try the recipe at home!

Ingredients:

3 cups cold milk

30 Vanilla Wafers

2 pkgs (4-serving size each)

3 medium bananas (sliced)

Jell-o vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling

1 tub (8 oz) cool whip whipped topping (thawed)

Method:

Pour milk in a large bowl.

Add dry pudding mixes.

Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended.

Let stand for 5 minutes.

Arrange half of the wafers on bottom and up side of 2-qt serving bowl. Add layers of half each of the banana slices and pudding. Repeat all layers.

Spread whipped topping over pudding.

REFRIGERATE until chilled.
