Covington fire damages 12 apartments

COVINGTON, KENTUCKY (FOX19) - Fire damaged 12 Covington apartments and displaced two families early Tuesday.
Flames broke out just after 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block Edgecliff Road, according to Kenton County emergency communication reports.
A woman called 911 and said her wall was warm.
Fire crews determined the blaze burned between two first-story apartments.
Smoke damaged 10 other apartments.
The cause was ruled electrical.
A damage estimate was not available.
