FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) - Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a robbery that took place at a Forest Park Sunoco on Oct. 30.
Police arrested Eric Lusenhop, 25, in connection to the robbery where a victim was shot at but the bullet went through his pants and went out his pant leg in the 11000 block of Southland Road.
The victim, Norman Williams, Sr., says he was in line at the gas station when the man in line in front of him said he was a nickel short.
Williams was in line for cigars and wine when he picked up the difference for that man, he says. Williams paid, then walked out the door when he was approached by a man in the parking lot next to his car.
"He said, 'give it up! Give it up! Give it up,'" Williams told FOX19 NOW.
That's when he found a gun in his face.
"My first reaction was to grab the gun. I grabbed the gun and I put it down and we wrestled for a second, and I heard a gunshot," he said.
That gunshot left Williams with two holes. But neither of them drew any blood.
Lusenhop was charged on one count felonious assault, and one count aggravated robbery.
