OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - Staff and senior citizens are "angry and disappointed" someone stole furniture from Over-the-Rhine Community Housing's Senior Building on Elm Street.

The agency is asking for the public's help in finding the suspects by posting pictures of the stolen items on their Facebook page.

"Feeling sad today because someone stole all of the furniture from our Senior Building lobby," the latest posting reads.

"They took all furniture, area rug, accent pieces, pictures and our framed Rookwood art tile. Many seniors live in the neighborhood but this is the first project to meet their needs in terms of accessibility, affordability and support services. Please let us know if you see anyone trying to sell these items."

Staff "lovingly" assembled the furnishings by shopping at furniture outlets, IKEA and ReSource store.

Several senior citizens who live in the neighborhood use the building.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers: 513-352-3040 or Over-the-Rhine Community Housing: 513-381-1171.
