City leaders are aiming to make Cincinnati an easier place to own electric cars with new charging stations throughout the city.
The first of five charging stations will be unveiled Tuesday at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's main parking lot.
Chargers have also been installed at Findlay Market and the campuses of UC, Xavier and Cincinnati State.
The stations, called DC Fast Chargers, can refuel an average electric vehicle in about 20 minutes, according to the city.
Vice Mayor David Mann, Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard, representatives from Clean Fuels Ohio will demonstrate the fast-charger stations Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
