Recipe: Broccoli, asparagus and spinach pizza

Paired with two cheeses and a pesto-sauce, broccoli makes an unexpectedly delicious topping for pizza.

Bella Vino Wine and Merchant Bar's 'Go Green' pizza features broccoli, asparagus and spinach and only takes 15 minutes to bake.


1 Frozen or Fresh Pizza Crust: Follow instructions if crusts call for pre baking

1/2 cup Basil Pesto Sauce

1 cup Mozzarella Cheese

1 cup Fresh Spinach

1 cup chopped Asparagus (uncooked)

1 cup Broccoli Florets (uncooked)

1/3 cup Asiago Cheese


Cover pizza crust with basil pesto sauce - go all the way to the edge!

Next, cover with spinach and top with mozzarella cheese.

Now, layer on your chopped asparagus and broccoli.

Lastly sprinkle on the Asiago cheese add a great salty cheese flavor to the Go Green Pizza.

Bake at 450 for 10-15 mins , till hot and bubbly cheese
