Indiana hospital target of cyber attack

BATESVILLE, IN (FOX19) - An Indiana hospital stated its patient's information was the target of a sophisticated cyber attack.

The breach affected information that was on the hospital's patient portal vendor, NoMoreClipboard, stated reports.

Margaret Mary Community Hospital announced Thursday that the breach impacted the following information: names, home addresses, Social Security numbers, spousal information, email addresses, birth dates, health information and health insurance policy information.

As the investigation continues, the hospital is offering affected individuals access to two years of credit monitoring and identity protection services at no cost, said a representative.
