The Hamilton County Prosecutor has released footage from the body camera worn by University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing when he fatally shot Sam DuBose on July 19.

Prosecutor Joe Deters announced that a Grand Jury indicted Tensing for murder at a press conference Wednesday. He also released the body cam video after weeks of pressure from community members and the media.

Tensing shot DuBose during a traffic stop for a missing front license plate.

"I think he lost his temper because Mr. DuBose wouldn't get out of his car. When you see this, you will not believe how quickly he pulls his gun and shoots him. It's so senseless," Deters said.

Tensing is in custody at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
